Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club
A-List established its first non-profit partnership in Summer of 2007 with the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club of Locust Valley, Long Island. For the past two years, we have run PSAT and SAT courses for the club’s members, many of whom have no other access to SAT preparation services. Students at the club demonstrated significant improvements in their scores by the end of the program.

Boys & Girls Club of Newark
In 2008, A-List initiated a similar program at the Boys & Girls Club of Newark. In addition to SAT prep, we provided college advising to a number of students. Staff at A-List and the Boys & Girls Club are currently collaborating to develop a more comprehensive, long-term college exploration program to be included in Newark’s award-winning Teen Leadership Academy. The new program is expected to launch this fall and will prepare juniors and seniors for the SAT while introducing younger students to college and working toward the goal of establishing a college-bound culture.
