The Long Island Express Select Lacrosse Club offers highly competitive student-athletes the opportunity to strive for their personal bests within a select program. They were founded under the principal that active participation on a competitive team, combined with good coaching provides student-athletes the opportunity to develop lifetime skills such as leadership, teamwork and good sportsmanship. A List has worked extensively with students in this club to achieve great academic success to go along with their athletic success. A-List’s SAT and college preparation has helped many Long Island Express student-athletes to gain admittance into the colleges and universities of their choice over the last two years.

Albertson Soccer Club

The Albertson Soccer Club has set a mission to provide children with a positive soccer experience, which incorporates the development of good skills, team participation and fun. By playing on an Albertson team, it is hoped each child will develop self-confidence, appreciate team cooperation, and respect teammates, opposing players, coaches and referees. Children should learn to value the ability to win and lose graciously. “Growth Through Good Sportsmanship” is the “life lesson” we hope to impart to our players – a lesson which can only be taught by the behavior of all participants, coaches, referees, parents and other spectators. A List has tutored numerous club members to help them achieve the success off the field.

andGO Sports’ objective is to offer services to Domestic and international athletes, with the goal of helping young athletes find a college education in the United States through athletic scholarships. AND Go Inc. specializes in matching college coaches with qualified student athletes, as well as proactively guiding each student-athlete and family through the recruiting process. They take the full measure of a student-athlete’s potential by highlighting their athletic and academic achievements and attributes so to effectively market them to college coaches throughout the country.

AND Go, Inc. wants to help athletes achieve something very difficult at the present time; to continue competing in sports at a very high level while continuing with a college education in one of the 1,000 different universities that belong to the United States collegiate system. If you want to study in the United States and you meet the athletic and academic pre-requisites, AND GO, Inc. will find you an athletic scholarship to study in an American University.

Excel Academy

Excel Academy is a new-style learning center dedicated to educating children and teenagers, grades 3 to 12 in the Manhasset / Great Neck area. Their goal is to build confidence and academic skill through dedicated enrichment programs. The summer of 2008 A-List helped Excel Academy continue this tradition of academic excellence by providing a summer SAT course. A course for this summer is currently in the works for students in their junior and senior years.

Camp Towanda

Nestled in the Northeast Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Camp Towanda is a traditional coed summer camp featuring all land and water sports, the arts, and outdoor adventure. Accredited by the American Camp Association, it offers high quality instruction, supervision, facilities and care for its campers. The camp itself offers a lush campus over 220 acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland. Campers come from 15 states and 7 different countries to create diverse friendships and bonds that last. During the summer of 2008, Camp Towanda continued its tradition of educating its campers by partnering with A-List to create a high quality PSAT course for rising juniors attending camp. The five week course covered the basics of the test, while allowing participants to test their skills with practice tests.

Camp Equinunk & Blue Ridge

Camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge are brother and sister camps located in the scenic Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. They are located on 400 acres of land divided by a 75 acre spring-fed lake. Accredited by the American Camping Association, the camps offer everything from zip lines, lighted courts, sporting fields, batting cages, hobby centers, canteen / game rooms, and even a movie theater. Campers arrive from 15 states and 3 countries and engage in countless sports and activities. The camps have been working with A-List since the summer of 2007 to provide a quality PSAT program for rising juniors. Many of these juniors continue to work with A-List through the school year and have seen excellent results.
