The Boys & Girls Club of Grenville

A-List was asked to provide a traditional SAT preparation course, A-List quickly adapted the program to a hybrid model with intense small group sessions and individualized attention. The program saw a mean improvement of over 200 points on the SAT with every student improving from the diagnostic test.

Similar to Grenville, A-List was asked to provide a traditional SAT preparation course. A-List decided to bring in one of our educational partners, Written in the Stars, to conduct a workshop called the "Meaning of Life". The workshop encouraged the students to share their fears in an open and safe forum among peers and adults. As students slowly began to express themselves they came to see that their friends and instructors shared similar fears and doubts. "The Meaning of Life" workshop was able to encourage the communication necessary for students to begin the long process of restoring faith in oneself.
