  • Customized Learning Plan: We will create a customized tutoring plan tailored to meet the needs of individual students and maximize achievement. Our Client Services Coordinator will inquire about the student's academic strengths and weaknesses, learning style, personality and interests to get a better understanding of what the student requires, and to see which A-List tutor will be the best fit to meet the student's needs. A-List tutors will then work with students to develop a tailored learning plan based on individual students' college goals.  
     
  • Extraordinary Tutors: Our expert instructors have worked with tens of thousands of students and senior staff collectively boast 75+ years of tutoring, teaching, and standardized test preparation experience. Tutors are selected not only for their academic accomplishments, but also for their engaging personalities and ability to build strong connections with students. We have a diverse group of educators, so we have a tutor to match every learner's unique needs and personality. All tutors go through 100 hours of A-List's rigourous training program (in addition to ongoing professional development), and are well equipped to deliver exceptional results.
     
  • Proprietary SAT/ACT Materials: Unlike most premium test preparation companies, we have developed our own comprehensively researched materials for the PSAT, SAT and ACT that identify the keys to understanding the tests. Our original materials provide students with the tools and strategies needed to master each test.
     
  • Weekly Practice Tests: A-List offers regularly scheduled, officially proctored practice tests. These practice exams allow students to apply what they have learned, get more familiar with test content, format and timing, and become more comfortable working in a real test-taking environment. 

  • Diagnostic Score Reports: Detailed diagnostic score reports (broken down all the way to specific question type) reveal student performance, allowing tutors to see and address students' strengths and weaknesses. This data-driven approach allows tutors to know in exactly what subject areas students have room to improve. View a sample score report.
