For the past twenty-five years, Rhonda has worked in education both in university admissions and high school counseling guiding thousands of students through the college search and application process to a range of institutions around the world. Starting as a Regional Director for The George Washington University (based in Los Angeles) where she recruited in seven states, she was later promoted to Associate Director and planned on-campus programming in addition to supervising five regional admissions offices around the US. In 2005, she became a Director of College Counseling in Los Angeles at Westside private schools. At this time, she began work as a part-time Admissions Evaluator for UCLA reading both domestic and international applications. An interest in working abroad let her to pursue university counseling opportunities in Shanghai and London from 2014–2018. She created the University and Career Counseling Program for YK Pao School. In summer of 2018, she moved to Los Angeles to work as a university counselor in a private school. She is a member of WACAC and NACAC and has attended and presented at numerous professional college conferences in the past.
