Taylor Bridges completed studies at the University of Alabama in both the Bachelor of Music and the Bachelor of Arts programs. While living in Alabama he taught arts camps all over the state, taught for the Gadsden City School System, and was a lead teacher for the University of Alabama SummerTide program in Gulf Shores, Alabama. He was also a much sought-after vocalist as well as a NATS 2006 award-winning singer (Musical Theatre and Classical Divisions).

In New York he has been seen on stages as a Music Director at the New York Fringe Festival, a composer/pianist at The New York Musical Theatre Festival, a singer-songwriter, and a pit musician. He spent two years at the BMI Musical Theatre Writers’ Workshop which the New York Times called the “Harvard of musical theatre”. He was a guest artist at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Conference as well as a founding member of While We Wait Productions which started a children’s theatre camp in Huntsville, Alabama.

Hailing from Sweet Home Alabama, he currently resides in Brooklyn and can be found greeting everyone with the ubiquitous saying from his alma mater, “Roll Tide.”

“Taylor was able to take a very stressful and overwhelming experience and make it manageable! In a short time he was able to figure out the ins and outs of Mitchell’s strengths and weaknesses, allowing Taylor to guide him successfully. His bright and witty personality matched well with Mitchell, making the sessions lighter and actually enjoyable! We can’t thank Taylor enough! One thing is for sure, Mitchell will never forget how to use a comma!”
Mother of Mitchell M. (Kennedy HS, 2018)
