Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Emma is a graduate of the Horace Mann School, where she received top awards in English, History, and Music. She went on to study at the University of Chicago, where she entered as a Pre-Med student and studied physics and biology before landing in the English and Theatre Departments. She was graduated with Special Honors with degrees in both English and Theatre and Performance Studies for her thesis exploring American Drama in the Nuclear Age.

Emma hopes to empower students to achieve their full potential. She has experience tutoring across subjects, including English, Geometry, and Algebra, as well as standardized tests. In addition to tutoring, Emma is an actor and producer. Her background in the arts makes her uniquely capable of finding innovative and exciting ways to engage students. In her free time, you can find Emma jogging down the Hudson, balancing a budget on her latest short film, or attempting to beat her dad’s time on the Thursday Crossword.
