CV Development is extremely important when applying for US Universities. Universities want to see that you have been active outside of the classroom as well as in it. Many American high school students will get involved in student government, political organisations, sports, school newspapers, and a variety of other extracurriculars throughout their four years of secondary school. Therefore it is important to start as soon as possible to ensure you have a meaningful experience and so you can put it on your university application! It is better to get involved in something that you are passionate about than to do multiple activities half-heartedly. Colleges will be able to see whether you are interested in your extracurricular or whether you are just trying to fill up space. With that said, it is a good idea to have a few extracurriculars that you feel strongly about and can participate in on a regular basis. We highly recommend meeting with an A-List advisor in Year 10 or 11 so we can provide guidance on CV development.

From Our Tutoring Clients
A-List’s tutors are excellent. The A-List Book of Knowledge textbook helped IMMENSELY, and condensed all the topics in very understandable ways. The college counsellors have many years of expertise in the field, and can help you find a range of schools that are tailored to your requirements. I would recommend getting assistance from A-List to anyone who wants to study in the USA.
