Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Charlotte received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Literature from Harvard University in 2015. While at Harvard, Charlotte sang with Harvard College Opera and the University Choir; was a Business Director for Harvard Model United Nations; and received the Franklin D Roosevelt Global Fellowship, the Global Health Institute Summer Fellowship, the Harold Bolitho Undergraduate Research Scholarship in Australian Studies, and the Seven Sisters College Conference Book Award and Scholarship for essay writing. After graduating, Charlotte became the Managing Director of Juventas New Music and works as a professional opera singer, director, and producer. As a singer, Charlotte has performed frequently with the BBC, and has recorded for Radio 2 and Radio 4.  Her recent operatic roles include Amore (Orfeo ed Eurydice), Cobweb (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Galatea (Acis and Galatea), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), and Prilepa (Queen of Spades).
