Mitchell Herrmann

Mitchell received a B.A. in Film and a B.Mus in Music Composition from Oberlin College and Conservatory in Ohio, completing the five-year program in only four. As an undergraduate, Mitchell was elected to the Council of Students, sat on the Student Union Board, and mentored freshman as part of the Academic Ambassador program. After graduating, he was awarded the prestigious Marshall Scholarship, which funds two years of study in the UK. In 2015, Mitchell published his first academic paper in Organised Sound, a journal published by Cambridge University Press. He recently received a perfect score on the GRE, the standardized test required by American graduate schools. When not thinking about standardized tests, Mitchell enjoys visual art, philosophy, and music.
