Subject Specialties: SAT/ACT
Hanna graduated from Harvard with a joint degree in Comparative Literature and Theater, Dance & Media. As a recipient of the Harvard Bacon Fund Grant she spent time in Avignon, France studying theatre, and later spent a summer as the Mediterranean Cookery and Produce intern at the Harvard Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence. Her wide range of interests in the arts shaped her time at Harvard, where she was involved in many shows both on and off stage. In both her academic and creative work, Hanna is interested in the intersection of craft and performance, and in issues of identity, narrative, and inheritance. Her summa cum laude thesis focused on oral poetry and weaving traditions, and has since been published by the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies. Before joining A-List, Hanna taught a range of ages and topics, from general early education to primary-age theatre workshops to English as a foreign language for adult learners. When not teaching, Hanna can be found baking, designing her next weaving project, or reading plays.
